Role Purpose

2 - Account Technology Specialist

As the Account Technology Specialist, you will be the lead technology strategist on an account team for several of Rapid’s largest enterprise accounts! In this role, you will enjoy unique access (and visibility) to Rapid’s senior executive team and Rapid’s product organizations as you support and advocate the business and technical priorities of these key enterprise customers.


Key Roles & Responsibilities
  • Build Trusted Advisor Customer Relationships - both up, down and across customers' business with key technical decision makers and business leaders (CIO, CTO, Architect, etc.) to align our customers' business priorities to our technical capabilities to influence the use of Rapid solutions to support their business.

  • Partner with the Account Manager to formulate and execute Rapid long-term strategy for the account and evangelize Rapid products, technologies, and solutions to meet strategic initiative and revenue goals for the accounts assigned

  • Ability to overlay Rapid roadmap with customer current and desired Infrastructure utilizing Rapid Managed Services models

  • Create, manage, and own sales strategy and deployment of end-to-end Rapid solutions to CXO-level and technical architect level customers Serve as the hands-on technical lead on program management for a variety of initiatives ranging from Voice, Data, Internet deployments to specific solutions such as unified communications, in addition to ensuring the successful reference deployment of these solutions.

  • Identify customer vision and requirements and broker interactions between the customer and the appropriate field specialist roles spanning across the Solution Team Unit (STU), Managed Services Unit (MSU), Operational Excellence Unit (OXU), & Partners, as well as corporate Product Groups and Industry Teams to name a few. Develop and nurture relationships between product groups and customer technology influencers through joint development as well as customer advisory programs.

  • Collaborate with the Account Manager to formulate and execute on a strategy to leverage the Rapid partner organization to sell Rapid solutions to and through the account.

  • Ability to understand deeply complex technical issues but communicate out proposed solutions.


The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability working with executive level manage at enterprise customer to map ICT capabilities to business initiatives with an ability to architect solutions for maximum return on investment to our customers. The successful candidate must be able to articulate the business value of our solutions and position them in competitive scenarios.


Qualifications

Applicants should have a strong technical background centered on Next Generation Communications technologies with 3+ years of technical and industry related experience, as well as experience and exposure evaluating and managing implementation of key technologies, such as Microsoft, Oracle, VMWare, CISCO, and Google. A track record of successful and substantive examples of leading technology strategy and deployments in a customer setting is important. Role Purpose

The Retail Account Manager will ensure flawless execution of the consumer solutions account plans and the Small Business and OEM at Retail programs in the Bahrain subsidiary and will support innovation projects to learn on how to improve the way consumer and small business purchase Rapid products at retail.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of high skilled retail specialists account managers, business analyst and Field Sales force coordinator Drive and execute a deep and comprehensive consumer solutions in integrated retail sales strategy and vision in the country retail channel.

  • Set strategy and overall plan on how to prepare, execute as well as follow up all sales activities, programs and campaigns of Rapid portfolio sold at all reseller channels as well as all other Rapid products sold at Retail to meet revenue & contribution margin objectives as well as maximize market share and customer and partner satisfaction.

  • Develop a world-class retail sales team. . Retain and develop the best sales individuals.

  • Develop the optimal distribution partner model for RETAIL S&M. Negotiate and agree commercial terms with the right local retailers and distributors to ensure our revenue and profit targets are achieved.

  • Identify the key retail partners in market that will maximize both our sales and overall Rapid consumer awareness. Build a deep, broad partnership with these key partners at a tactical and strategic level - through board level engagement, optimized contractual terms, efficient supply and excellent execution in store

  • Drive and support an end-to-end Rapid consumer strategy for the managed accounts with the relevant internal teams (e.g. Product Team, Business Management Team, OEM, Telecom and UC&C) to ensure our marketing and sales initiatives are 1. Aligned and leveraged. Ultimately allowing our customers to get the best visibility and ease of purchase of Rapid consumer products through whichever channel they choose.

  • Own the overall numbers for all the categories including revenue, forecasting, contribution margin and marketing development funds spend.

  • Optimize and maximize the ROI of the marketing development funds assigned to the sales division. Deepen the distribution breadth for all the business through new resellers, partners or new selling channels. Implement the new business models: Electronic Software Download and Point of Sale activation.

4 - Executive Assistant

Role Purpose

To provide executive support to the CEO office. To be a trusted right-hand person and conscience for the executives and the business.


Act as an ambassador for the CEO office, both internally and externally, the Executive Assistant (EA) will need to demonstrate a high degree of customer facing and interpersonal skills. The EA is to ensure smooth and seamless integration and management of the CEO’s office, applying pro-activity, initiative, discretion and confidentiality to all tasks.


Team/Department Mission
Executive Office
  • To manage the Executive office in an efficient, effective and professional manner. To be the ‘go to’ person in the absence of the executives. To be able to work without supervision and to be self-motivated. A confident self-starter is essential.

  • Responsible for liaison and scheduling of customer, press and other business and team meetings - this role involves dealing with people at the highest levels in large corporations and internally to Rapid.

  • Prepare executive presentations and communications on behalf of the executive to internal and external audiences to include but not limited to - executive briefings, external customer presentations and all hands slide decks and weekly business communications.

  • Co-ordinate monthly Leadership team monthly governance meetings - to include agenda management, minute taking, action log and circulation of any pre-reading.

  • Work as part of various project teams for example, assisting the SE Lead with action planning following the annual employee engagement survey as well as project manage appropriate ad-hoc projects across the executive team, which may require working in virtual teams.

  • To deal with incoming mail and email both independently and on behalf of the executive. Ensuring that the executive is engaged only with essential items that require their response. To compose appropriate responses and dispatch other mail.

  • Proactive diary management - responsibility for keeping an overall view of the diary and ensuring an optimum schedule for meetings. Managing the executive’s time to an agreed plan, and using initiative and judgment to ensure that the executive is as effective as possible at all times.

  • Facilitate information flow between CEO’s office and internal and external groups. 100% discretion required for confidential information.

  • Operate as an ambassador for the CEO’s office, ensuring that you are the eyes and ears for them, represent his views within the business, and feedback pertinent information to the CXO to ensure that the CXOs remains close to everything going on within the business. A strong ability to network both within the department and across the business and build key relationships rapidly is essential.

  • Responsible for relationship management with large corporations and their offices, and for pro-active meeting planning, bringing to the attention of the General Manager any items that may need to be brought to the agenda for meetings.

Travel Planning and Management

  • Preparation in advance of the trip’s agenda’s, full briefing documentation including itemized time schedule, overview of each meeting, full details of people to be met (eg customers) relevant addresses, currency etc. All to be provided to CEO in timely manner.

  • All travel arrangements to be identified and made well in advance with all visa requirements, hotels, connecting travel arrangements etc taken care of. In addition, ensuring the electronic calendar is kept up-to-date with full meeting information: venue addresses, phone numbers, attendees etc. Knowledge of scheduling diverse individuals across multiple timezones and an appreciation of global working is essential.

Leadership Team and Extended Team

  • Participate as a highly trusted and involved member of the Leadership Team, responsible for issuing agendas and pre-reading, issuing minutes in a timely manner, taking and monitoring actions and scheduling all Leadership Team activities.

  • Responsible for booking Leadership team and Extended-team off-sites ensuring these are kept to cost, but remain motivational. Working with all internal parties to complete this.

  • Take ownership of logistics for morale events both on behalf of the leadership team and across the wider business. Act as a barometer for morale across the team and ensure that budgets and activities around this area are managed as effectively as possible.

Administrative Management

  • Responsible for day to day people management of the 3 (contingent) administrative assistants within the office, ensuring they support the team as effectively as possible. Working towards streamlining processes and procedures ensuring consistency in all administrative matters as well as on-boarding any new members of the team.

  • Manage the team to ensure high levels of support to the executive leadership team during any periods of absence.

  • Monitor the team’s performance to agreed minimum levels, holding regular team meetings and individual one to one coaching.

VIP Visits

Orchestrate VIP/Board visits from within the business. Co-ordination of logistics, briefing papers, meeting confirmations and overall flow of the visit.


Communications

  • Create and manage executive communications - internal.

  • Timely and consistent internal communications strategy, appropriately tailored to CEO’s style.

  • Management and organization of relevant VTC’s, email and sharepoint communication.

  • A background or experience in sales/marketing communications would be desirable.

  • Management of distribution lists and aliases across the department ensuring that any communication is guaranteed to connect with the correct audience.

Other

Management of adhoc projects on behalf of the CEO as and when required such as management of event attendance to guidelines, assistance with mid year and end of year planning, assistance with space planning and office moves, business reorganizations etc.

The Rapid Operations is looking for a Business Administrator who has excellent organization and communication skills combined with a great positive attitude, strong initiative and high energy. To succeed in this role you must be able to multi-task and pro-actively anticipate the needs of the team. This position is responsible for providing administrative support for an active business operations team, as well as calendar and travel management for 3 to 4 Senior Directors.

This position offers a variety of primary administrative functions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, calendar management, coordinating and scheduling meetings, event planning and coordination, travel arrangements, preparing expense reports, asset/headcount/space tracking, new hire setups, organization chart updates, maintaining group aliases and being an integrated member of the team.
